When you register, we collect your full name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, address, landmark, and pincode. When you list an item, we collect the listing details and photos/video you provide. When you request a rental, we collect your requested dates and any message you send.
Your information is used to create and secure your account, connect renters and owners, verify listings before approval, process rental requests, and send you updates about your bookings or listings. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard encryption before being saved. LocalRentify staff cannot see your password.
Images and videos you upload for a listing are stored with our media hosting provider (Cloudinary) and are publicly viewable once your listing is approved.
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more or opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings.
Your mobile number and name are shared with the other party in a confirmed rental request (so an Owner and Renter can coordinate) and with our team while coordinating a booking. We do not share your data with unrelated third parties.
